Now I know what I have and can order that ones I don't.

Shoes

A girl after my own heart.

Emma has already taken to shoes.

She puts our shoes on her feet and then walks around.

Because they are so big she falls after only a few steps.

I had so many errands to run today but these are the only 2 stops I was able to make.

Spent a little too much time in each place. Oh well, there is always another day!

Sour Grapes

After lunch today the girls were still hungry.

So, I got out the grapes. I guess they were not as

sweet as the ones we usually get because

this is the face Emma made every time she bit

into one. It was so funny because she kept asking for more!

George's Project

January 23

I used to be able to park in our garage

but somehow things just started to pile up.

George wants to get it all cleaned up so I can park

in it again. He is doing a fantastic job but

I think it will take some time to finish - one day just

is not enough for this mess!!

Saturday Project

January 22

Once the baby comes we are changing the girls bedrooms.

But first I needed to clean out the front bedroom before we could

paint and get it ready for Kayla to move into. All my stamping/scrapbooking

things were in this room along with, well, lots of odds and ends!

Reading

January 21

I am thrilled that Emma loves to "read" her books, however,

I wish she didn't empty her book shelf every time!

Tissues

All 3 of us girls have colds with runny noises.

If this keeps up much longer I am going to buy stock in one of the tissue companies.

So, I was helping Kayla with something and this is what Emma did to keep herself occupied.

I am so excited that both my girls love books so much!

Late to Bed

This is the time I got the girls to bed tonight. My car broke down and we ended up not getting home until after 8. George didn't get home until after 9. Not a very fun experience!

Rainy Day

It rained for almost 4 hours today.

We were very thankful for the rain as we really needed a good soaking.

New Toothbrush

January 12

Emma got a new toothbrush in her stocking for Christmas.
We actually opened it up today and started brushing her teeth.
She did great and seems to love brushing her teeth next to her big sister.

Freezer Foods

I have been busy making meals to put in the freezer for when the baby is born.

Today I made cream cheese mashed potatoes and baked potato wedges.

Both were very tasty and I can't wait to eat them with a meal!

Hat Day

Emma found one of Daddy's hats in the closet

and spent all day putting in on and

taking it off her head!

Tangerines Tangerines

January 9

We went to Grandma's and Grandpa's house for dinner tonight.

Emma had a ball with the bags of tangerines they had picked from their tree.

Sleeping Positions

January 8

Emma has the most unusual sleeping positions.

One of these times I am going to video her falling asleep

because she moves around for 10 sometimes 20 minutes

before falling asleep. I know this picture does not show

a very unusual position but she is sideways in the crib.

The other day her food was actually sticking out

of the crib.

Sick Mommy

Well, now I am sick. Being pregnant

I have limited meds I can take.

So, these are the things that are keeping me going for now!

Hopefully I'll feel better soon!

Strong Arms

January 6

Emma has got to be the strongest 1 year old I have ever met.

She pulled herself up onto this shelf with her arms.

And look at that face...she is so proud of herself!

Birds

January 5

Today we went to the beach with my sister

so she could take some pictures of us. At

one point a bunch of seagulls stared to fly

all around us. It was so cool to see that

many birds flying around us at one time.

Playground

January 4

Today we all needed to get out of the house and it was a beautiful day.

So, I took the girls to the playground. Emma ended up falling asleep

on the way there. She actually ended up sleeping for about 30 min

while Kayla enjoyed, climbing, sliding and swinging. Once Emma

woke up Kayla pushed her on the swing. She is such a good big sister!

The Sickies

January 3

Well, Kayla is sick yet again. This is her taking a nap at 10:00 in the morning.

I think she has another ear infection. We'll find out for sure tomorrow when we see the doctor.

If so, it will be the 3rd ear infection in 3 months.

Pretty in Pink
